Praying for loved Ones Gives God authority to use you to be the answer to your prayers
Praying for Loved Ones gives God Authority to use you to be the Answer to your Prayers
One of my favorite scriptures to speak on is 1 Peter 3:1-2. This scripture changed how I showed up for my loved one’s. When I realized that my actions influenced the atmosphere in my home, my efforts reflected God's peace. I stopped being hostile. I stopped using words to scare them to change. I started allowing God's love to live out loud through my actions. I was open to God using my walk to draw their walk.
I became part of the answer to my prayers through my influence. I stopped allowing my loved one’s growing season to distract me from my assignment as their family. I started being kinder and more gracious. I became their biggest cheerleader. I supported their work and walk. I became a more passionate and joyful family member.
Practical application:
Please take a moment to ask yourself these questions, "How would I like to be married to me? Can God use me to be the answer to my prayers?"
“In the same way, wives, submit yourselves to your own husbands so that, even if some disobey the Christian message, they may be won over without a message by the way their wives live when they observe your pure, reverent lives.”
