His Purpose
Have you ever wondered what God's purpose is for you life? If so, you are not alone. A few years ago USA Today completed a survey. They posed the question "What would you ask God or some other supreme being if you could ask one question." When they received the results the number one response was: "What is my purpose in life?"
Everyone at some point in their lives may find themselves wondering what His plan is for us. That's ok. If you find that the waters are a little muddy and you need clarity, you need only to seek Him and He will clear the way and show you your path. This may not be instantaneous. As our Sunday school teacher has pointed out many times. We live in a microwave society, where we expect instant results. That is simply not how God works. He will reveal His plan in His time.
If you feel unworthy of the task laid before you, you are in good company. We find in Exodus that one of the great men of the Bible, Moses, also felt unworthy. Exodus 4:10 "And Moses said unto the Lord, O my Lord, I am not eloquent, neither heretofore, nor since thou hast spoken unto thy servant: but I am slow of speech, and of a slow tongue." Moses was literally speaking directly to God and even he felt unsure. God, in all of his infinite wisdom already knew the answer to his troubles. He sent his brother Aaron to help. It does not matter how you feel about your task. He already knows how to use you. All you have to do is open your hands and be willing to be His servant.
Whether you already know your task or you are wondering what your purpose may be, have faith and know He will reveal all in His time, just stand back, be useful, and be prepared to serve where He wants you.
